In this role, you’ll be a vital support to our veterinary team during peak times, ensuring our clients and their beloved pets receive the highest standard of care. We’re looking for someone confident, professional, and warm, with a friendly approach and a positive “can-do” attitude.

Why Choose Us?

As part of the renowned IVC Evidensia network, we enjoy the best of both worlds — the independence to make decisions that benefit our local patients, alongside the strength and expertise of a leading veterinary group. This means access to cutting-edge equipment, clinical support, and a vibrant network of passionate professionals.

This role is wonderfully varied — from cleaning and ordering stock to handling animals and occasional lone working. We’re seeking a multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves being part of a team, and can keep their sense of humor even when things get busy.

Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist is a plus, but not essential. What’s most important is your professionalism, excellent communication skills, and solid IT proficiency.

Your Working Hours

The successful candidate will work approximately 15 hours a week, with shifts between 8 am and 7 pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is key, as you may be called upon to cover staff holidays or sickness.

  • Enhanced family-friendly policies, including maternity/ paternity/ adoption/ shared parental and surrogacy pay
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Initiatives focused on employee wellbeing
  • Non-accidental injury support
  • Learning and development opportunities via the IVC Evidensia Academy
  • Pawsome Benefits - reward gateway giving discounts and cashback with 100's of retailers
