NHS Grampian is offering an exciting 12 month secondment opportunity within the General Surgery Department at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, providing an excellent learning environment for those looking to deepen their expertise in acute abdominal care.
The role presents a unique opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced setting where you will be directly involved in the assessment, diagnosis and management of a wide range of acute abdominal conditions. As part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team, you will gain hands-on experience across multiple patient pathways, including the unscheduled and scheduled pathways, Surgical High Dependency Unit (SHDU), and Surgical Ambulatory Care (SAC) with strong focus on abdominal surgical cases.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high quality patient care, utilising advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose and manage a variety of complex and interesting surgical conditions. The position requires a strong commitment to patient wellbeing and the ability to work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team.
