Job summary

Horizon Care Ltd invites a creative Speech and Language Therapist to join our team, delivering a comprehensive therapeutic service for children in three SEN schools in Croydon. You will assess, intervene and collaborate with school teams to support young people’s development.

The role is based in Croydon, England, with term-time only options and a focus on training and MDT collaboration. HCPC registration and driving licence required; nearly qualified applications are welcome.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration
• BSc in Speech and Language Therapy
• Experience with Children and Young People
• Nearly Qualified applications accepted
• Ability to teach, train and supervise
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously with support
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload across three SEN/SEMH schools in Croydon
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic advice and guidance to school teams
• Conduct assessments, set goals, and make recommendations for therapy
• Develop and review therapeutic goals for children in education
• Contribute to delivery of therapeutic and psychological training for staff
• Participate in supervision and CPD opportunities
• Support service development activities across Horizon Group
