Job summary

The Surrey Schools Speech and Language Therapy Team is seeking a Clinical Team Lead to support children with complex profiles across East Surrey. You will coordinate therapy offers, adapt approaches and ensure person-centred services beyond a typical learning environment.

The role includes line management of SLT staff, supervision, training and collaboration with education professionals. Driving licence and travel across Surrey are required.

Qualifications

• A BSc (Hons) in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration are required.
• Experience leading SLT teams in educational settings is essential.
• Strong understanding of the English education system and SEND practice.

Responsibilities

• Hold a specialist clinical caseload within schools and settings.
• Provide clinical supervision and line management to SLT team members.
• Support with second opinions, observations, training and student placements.
• Work with management on strategic development of Surrey school services.
