South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for a Library Assistant (Deliveries) to join their team. The successful candidate will drive a vehicle to enable them to deliver library materials to various sites across South Lanarkshire. The post involves driving safely, loading and unloading the vehicle, sorting deliveries en route and physically delivering and uplifting boxes of materials as required.

Location: Hamilton Town House Library, Cadzow Street, Hamilton
Hours: 17.5 hours per week (average hours)
Shift Pattern: 2 week shift pattern
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 9am - 5pm (1 hour unpaid break)
Week 2: Thursday and Friday, 9am - 5pm (1 hour unpaid break)
Salary Band: £13.33 - £13.79 per hour
Duration: Fixed term until 31 March 2026
