Week 1: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (1 hour unpaid break)
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 9am - 5pm (1 hour unpaid break)
Salary Band; £36,425 - £37,465 per annum

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture Library Services are seeking to recruit a dynamic and motivated Community Librarian to lead, develop and promote library provision. The post holder will be expected to work across a range of venues across South Lanarkshire.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The post holder will be responsible for operating and developing library services, managing library teams and promoting usage by community groups and members of the public of all ages.
A key part of the role is developing and participating in a programme of outreach activities across South Lanarkshire and working with local organisations and community groups to build strong partnerships.
THE INDIVIDUAL
Applicants should be qualified to degree level in Librarianship or equivalent. We also welcome applications from those working towards their MCLIP qualification provided they have relevant public library experience.
