We are recruiting an experienced Slitter Machine Operator responsible for operating and setting a slitting machine that cuts and slits materials into specified widths. Your duties will include setting up the machine, ensuring proper material alignment, adjusting machine settings, monitoring quality, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Duties:

1. Setting up and operating the slitting machine, including loading raw packaging materials, adjusting settings, and ensuring proper calibration for specific slitting and cutting tasks.
2. Monitoring the quality of cuts through visual inspection and measuring tools to ensure they meet specifications.
3. Performing quality control checks, identifying, and removing defective or non-conforming products.

Experience Desired:

• Experience operating packing slitter or other packaging/print machinery is ideal.
• Preferably, experience in food/FMCG sustainable packaging manufacturing or machining.

Additional Requirements:

• Knowledge of various packaging formats and production techniques is advantageous.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts from 6 am to 2 pm and 2 pm to 10 pm, Monday to Friday, with a 12-8 pm shift on Fridays.

The client is willing to train candidates without prior slitting machinery experience, especially those with experience operating other packaging, labelling, or cutting machinery.
