Job description

Our client based in Bradford is looking to recruit a Slitting Machine Operator for an ongoing temporary role with the potential to become permanent. The role involves working 36 hours a week, alternating between double day shifts, with the following schedule:

• Early shifts: Mon-Thurs (Apply online only), 06:30-12:30 Fri
• Lates: Mon-Thurs (Apply online only), 12:30-17:30 Fri

Duties

• Converting large widths of film to bespoke widths driven by customer demand.
• Setting and operating machinery (knives, tensions, speeds).
• Complying with QC regulations.
• Maintaining machinery.
• Adhering to ISO/BRC regulations.
• Loading machinery with raw materials and unloading finished products.
• Monitoring running machinery.
• Inspecting raw and finished products for defects and reporting issues.
• Ensuring machines operate at required speeds for maximum throughput.
• Monitoring waste and working efficiently.
• Performing general housekeeping.
