Job summary

Danny Sullivan Group is seeking an experienced Slinger / Signaller for a major long-term project in Coventry. This is a long-term, secure opportunity for the right candidate.

Key duties include safely attaching and guiding lifts, using clear hand signals and radio comms, and ensuring all lifting activities comply with site procedures and safety regulations. CPCS/NPORS with CSCS and traffic marshal tickets are required.

Qualifications

• CPCS or NPORS with CSCS logo
• CPCS or NPORS Traffic Marshall ticket
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Safely attach and secure loads to cranes and lifting equipment using appropriate lifting accessories
• Direct and guide crane operators using approved hand signals and radio communication
• Ensure lifting operations are carried out safely and in line with site procedures and health & safety regulations
• Check lifting gear and accessories before use to ensure they are suitable, certified, and in good condition
• Maintain clear communication with crane operators, lift supervisors, and site teams during lifting operations
• Assist with the safe movement and placement of materials across the construction site
