Job summary

One Way is recruiting an experienced Slinger Signaller to join a major infrastructure project near Solihull. The successful candidate will direct crane operations, attach and secure loads, and carry out lifting duties in accordance with lift plans, while maintaining clear communication with crane operators.

You must hold a valid CPCS Slinger Signaller card (or NPORS with CSCS logo) and have prior experience on large civil engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS Slinger Signaller card (or NPORS equivalent with CSCS logo).
• Experience on large infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
• Safety Critical Medical is essential.
• Willingness to comply with site drug and alcohol testing and all safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct crane operations and signal cranes according to lift plans.

Job description

We are currently recruiting experienced Slinger Signallers to join a major infrastructure project in Solihull.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely directing crane operations, attaching and securing loads, carrying out lifting duties in accordance with lift plans, and communicating clearly with crane operators using recognised hand signals and radio communication. You'll play a key role in ensuring lifting operations are carried out safely and efficiently while working as part of a team on a large civil engineering project.

Applicants must hold a valid CPCS Slinger Signaller card (or NPORS equivalent with CSCS logo) and have previous experience working on large infrastructure or civil engineering projects. A Safety Critical Medical is essential, and candidates must be willing to comply with site drug and alcohol testing and all site safety procedures.
