Job summary

RGM Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced Slinger Signaller for an immediate start on a busy construction project in Maidstone, Kent.

You must hold a valid CSCS, CPCS or NPORS Slinger Signaller qualification and have proven experience slinging loads for tower crane operations. Two recent references and strong site safety knowledge are essential. You will work closely with crane operators and site personnel to ensure safe lifting practices.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS, CPCS or NPORS Slinger Signaller qualification required.
• Experience slinging loads for tower crane operations.
• Two recent, checkable work references.
• Strong understanding of site safety procedures.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate with crane operators.

Responsibilities

• Safely slinging and directing loads during tower crane lifts.
• Communicating clearly with the tower crane operator using hand signals and radio where required.
• Ensuring lifting operations are carried out safely and in accordance with site procedures.
• Inspecting lifting gear before use and reporting defects.
• Maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
• Assisting with general lifting and site duties as required.

LOCATION: Maidstone, Kent

RATE: £19.50 per hour

START DATE: ASAP

DURATION: Ongoing Work

We are currently recruiting an experienced Slinger Signaller for an immediate start on a busy construction project in Maidstone, Kent.

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS, CPCS or NPORS Slinger Signaller qualification (essential)

• Proven experience slinging loads for tower crane operations

• Full PPE

• Two recent, checkable work references

• Strong understanding of site safety procedures

• Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with crane operators and site personnel

Duties:

• Safely slinging and directing loads during tower crane lifts

• Communicating clearly with the tower crane operator using recognised hand signals and radio communication where required

• Ensuring all lifting operations are carried out safely and in accordance with site procedures

• Inspecting lifting gear before use and reporting any defects

• Maintaining a safe working environment at all times

• Assisting with general lifting and site duties as required
