Our client, a prominent player in the HTP sector, is currently seeking an experienced Slinger to join their team at the Sizewell C project site. The role is starting ASAP and is ongoing work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely attaching and detaching loads using appropriate slinging techniques
• Guiding crane operators to move loads to precise locations on the project site
• Ensuring all lift operations are conducted in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Communicating effectively with team members and crane operators to ensure smooth and safe operations
• Conducting regular inspections of lifting gear and equipment
• Maintaining clear and accurate records of lifting operations
• Identifying potential hazards and implementing measures to mitigate risks
• Assisting with general site operations as needed

Job Requirements:

• Experience in slinging and signalling, with a strong focus on safety
• Proficiency in using various types of lifting gear and equipment
• Certification as a Slinger/Signaller (Banksman)
