Job summary

Morson are recruiting slingers for a client in Govan on a 12-month contract with potential extension. Hours are no less than 37 per week." Shifts offer day and night rates with PAYE terms for locals and non-locals. Immediate starts subject to security clearance and full rate card available on request.

Role focuses on care of equipment, cleanliness of ship areas, adherence to SHE rules, and documenting safety issues while coordinating with management to boost productivity.

Qualifications

• Comfortable in confined environments and at height.
• Able to work in teams and independently.
• Experience in industrial cleaning and busy environments.

Hours worked: No less than 37 hours

What you will be doing:

• Responsible for the care and protection of fitted equipment
• Making sure that all areas of the ship are at cleaned to the highest standards
• Always comply with the SHE regulations
• Documenting all safety issues and damages
• Engaging with management to improve work productivity

Your skills and experiences:

• Awareness of all Assessments- SHE & COSHH
• Comfortable working in a confined environment and at a great height
• Work well with a team and independently
• Knowledge of working in an industrial cleaning and busy environment

Shifts can vary:

Standard - Locals: £18.18 PAYE Non locals: £26.18 PAYE (Umbrella rates also available)

Nights - Locals: £24.18PAYE Non locals: £32.18PAYE (Umbrella rates also available)
