Job description

We're currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Sliding Head Programmer to join our clients established team on a permanent basis.

Previous experience is essential. Knowledge of using CNC Wizard would also be advantageous.

Our client is a reputable manufacturer based in the Tipton area.

Responsibilities include:

• Programming, setting & operating Citizen CNC machinery
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Utilise CNC Wizard software
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
• Perform routine maintenance & safety checks
• Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, working with sliding head machines
• Proficiency in programming and operating Citizen machinery, CNC Wizard and Fanuc controls
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working hours:

• Monday to Thursday 07:30-16:30
• Friday 07:30-14:00
