Senior Sliding Head CNC Machinist

Location: Crewkerne

Salary: £35,000, Monday to Friday, Holidays, Pension, Bonus

Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is currently recruiting for a Sliding Head CNC Machinist for our client in Crewkerne, Somerset. Our client is a highly successful business experiencing significant growth, which is why they need a Senior Machinist to join the team.

The Role:
You will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming sliding head CNC machines to produce components and parts for the company's products. Responsibilities include:

1. Set and operate a number of CNC Sliding Head Machines
2. Produce parts contained within the job cards
3. Follow engineering drawings and adhere to tolerances
4. Ensure quality of all parts produced is up to company and industry standards

About you:

1. Proven experience setting, operating and programming Citizen Sliding Head Machines or other Sliding Head Machines
2. Programming experience, offline or online
3. Ability to adhere to run times, set multiple machines within the required tolerances
