Job summary

Ribbons & Reeves in Islington is seeking an SLCN Teacher to support pupils with speech, language and communication needs. The role welcomes Primary, EYFS, English or SEN teachers with a genuine interest in communication and language development and a QTS qualification.

You'll plan engaging lessons, adapt resources to individual needs, and work with Teaching Assistants and specialist staff to monitor progress and targets. Start ASAP / September, full-time position in a specialist SEN school.

SLCN Teacher Islington | Speech, Language & Communication

Are you a teacher who enjoys helping pupils overcome barriers to communication, learning and confidence?

A specialist SEN school in Islington is looking for a teacher to work with pupils with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).

You don't need to be a specialist SLCN teacher already. We're interested in hearing from Primary, EYFS, English and SEN teachers who have a genuine interest in communication and language development.

The Role

• Teach pupils with speech, language and communication needs


• Plan engaging and accessible lessons around individual abilities


• Adapt teaching, instructions and resources to support different communication needs


• Develop pupils' confidence and ability to communicate
