Job Introduction

We are recruiting for a Sales Executive to join our dealership team in Coventry.

Listers ŠKODA Coventry is one of the largest ŠKODA retailers in the UK, achieving a record-breaking 4% market share in 2024 with increased UK registrations.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our growth as ŠKODAUK continues its success.

The working hours are from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Saturday, with a day off during the week, and 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sundays on a rota basis.

Benefits include a company car and an OTE of £50,000.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Sales Executive, you will ensure each customer feels valued by understanding how our vehicles fit into their lifestyle. Your goal is to match customers with the right car, features, and add-ons, and to guide them through financing and contracts, ensuring total satisfaction.

  • Build trust, communicate effectively, and exceed customer expectations through qualification and first impressions.
  • Maximize opportunities via prospecting, follow-up calls, inbound inquiries, walk-ins, and internet leads.
  • Achieve monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration, and add-on products to maximize profit.
  • Comply with FCA and data protection standards by accurately collecting customer and vehicle data to enhance our customer database.

About You

  • Previous experience as a car sales executive, retail manager, or sales manager is preferred.
  • You should demonstrate a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with customers.
  • Potential to develop a successful career in the industry.
  • Hold a valid UK driving license.
  • Motor trade or automotive experience is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
