Job summary

Panda Waste is expanding its Salford depot and seeks a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join the team. You will operate Skip & RoRo vehicles, maintain records on a digital tablet, and follow strict health, safety, and environmental standards.

Shifts start at 06:00 with Monday–Friday work and a 1 in 3 Saturdays rota. Overtime is paid; breaks are fully paid, and PPE is provided. Training and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• All applicants must hold a valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Current Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card are required.
• Proven Class 2 driving experience, preferably with Skip or RoRo loads.
• Solid understanding of driver hours, tachograph rules, and load securing.
• Physically fit for outdoor work and comfortable wearing PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles (Skip & RoRo) for waste collection and delivery.
• Perform daily vehicle walkaround checks and report defects promptly.
• Plan efficient routes to maximise productivity and reduce environmental impact.
• Maintain accurate collection/delivery records via a digital tablet system.
• Deliver excellent customer service while adhering to health, safety and compliance standards.

Panda Waste is expanding its operational team at our Salford depot. We are seeking a reliable and professional Skip & RoRo Driver to join our team, supporting sustainable waste management and collection across the region.

Shift Pattern & Hours

• Days: Monday to Friday
• Start Time: 06:00 until finish
• Weekend Rota: 1 in 3 Saturdays required
• Breaks: Paid breaks included

Key Responsibilities
