Job summary

Macmillan Skin Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist role within the NHS across the Isle of Wight and mainland path. You will provide highly specialised nursing care for patients with skin cancer from initial referral through treatment, offering practical, psychological, and emotional support to patients and their families.

Collaborate with the lead clinician and multidisciplinary teams to maintain a high-quality, evidence-based service.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive quality service with highly specialised clinical knowledge for skin cancer management.
• Support patients and carers from referral/diagnosis, offering practical, psychological, and emotional help.
• Collaborate with the lead clinician and MDT on the Isle of Wight and mainland to ensure coordinated care.
• Lead development and implementation of clinical audits and research projects in the specialty.
