Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred,or equivalent related work experience. Experience/Training inPositive Behavioral Support Interventions. Positive verbal/written reference responses as received from professional or personal contacts. Successfully meet all pre-employment screening requirements including a Criminal Records Inquiry (CORI) and National Background Inquiry. Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and must meet The Edinburg Center’s “Safe Driving” standards. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Previous experience/exposure to working with individuals between the ages of 6-22. Proficient computing skills. Excellent written and interpersonal skills. The ability to work collaboratively within a team setting, or independently with little supervision

What You Will Do:

  • Implement, model and monitor progress of behavior support plan and/or skill acquisition plans under the supervision and direction of the Family Navigator
  • Collaborate with collateral team members when needed
  • Provide direct instruction to children on the Autism Spectrum when utilizingSkills Training Services
  • Comply with DESE, DDS, Edinburg Center and Children's Services policies and procedures
  • Submit administrative/electronic health records paperwork accurately and on time (Evolv progress notes, ADP, Bill Checks, monthly mileage, etc.)
  • Maintain service productivity standards by meeting caseload allocations as identified by supervisors.
  • Maintain all required documentation for self and collateral contacts in all client records
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by a supervisor
