A leading Further Education provider in Redhill is looking for a passionate Skills Practitioner to support learners in their journey into the construction trades.

No teaching qualification required-just practical experience, a positive attitude, and a desire to help students succeed.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support learning: Assist students with hands-on training in workshop and classroom settings.
• Bring your knowledge to life: Help create resources and prepare materials for practical sessions.
• Student support: Supervise students, provide guidance, and help assess their practical progress.
• Stay organised: Manage tools, equipment, and consumables, ensuring learning areas are ready for use.
• Team player: Work closely with teaching staff to maintain records and contribute to student success.

What We're Looking For

• A recognised qualification in Painting & Decorating (ideally Level 2 or above).
• Industry experience and strong practical skills.
• Confidence working with young people and supporting learning.
• A teaching qualification is a plus, but not essential-training can be provided.
• A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
• Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check and provide relevant references.
