Description

The Student Success team sits at the heart of our mission to support students as they navigate their early careers-connecting them with opportunities, resources, and experiences that help them reach their full potential.

We work across marketing, content, events, campaigns, and partnerships to engage students meaningfully through the targetjobs platform, on campus, and in collaboration with universities and employers. Our work is designed to not only inspire and inform students but to improve outcomes for underrepresented groups and build stronger pathways into top employers.

As Skills & Learning Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our learning offer-leading the design of high-quality, user-first content that helps students build confidence, develop skills, and access the right opportunities. You'll be central to our goal of delivering meaningful, measurable outcomes through learning-whether via flagship programmes, e-learning modules, or live, student-facing experiences.

The Student Success team thrives on collaboration, creativity, and a shared commitment to making a real difference to students' lives. If you're passionate about innovation, student empowerment, and building scalable solutions, this is the team to join.

About this role

You'll play a key role in shaping GTI's flagship learning programme, co-creating content for digital platforms and student events, and designing resources that help Gen Z learners navigate their early careers with confidence.

You'll take ownership of the full instructional design process-from needs analysis and learning strategy through to content creation, testing, and optimisation. Working closely with subject matter experts, clients, and internal teams, you'll translate complex information into user-friendly content that works across formats including e-learning, video, webinars, and live workshops.

Key Metrics

  • Number of learning assets produced (e.g. modules, videos, toolkits, webinars) per quarter
  • Percentage of projects delivered on time and within scope
  • Learner satisfaction scores (via post-course feedback or surveys)
  • Positive outcomes reported by students (e.g. increased confidence, application behaviour)
  • Number of unique users engaging with learning content
  • Content health checks and % of materials kept up to date.
  • Enrolment and completion rates for flagship learning programmes
  • Pre- and post-programme knowledge/skills self-assessments
  • Qualitative feedback from participants and university/career service partners

Outcomes

We have a strong voice across the business for the skills and learning agenda and our learning products are designed effectively, receiving positive feedback from users and clients.

  • Design, develop, and deliver a growing portfolio of Gen Z-optimised learning experiences-including e-learning modules, video tutorials, webinars, simulations, and interactive assessments.
  • Apply instructional design models (e.g. ADDIE, SAM, Bloom's Taxonomy) to produce effective, outcome-driven content tailored to learner needs.
  • Ensure all materials are inclusive, accessible, and regularly updated to reflect new technologies, insights, and industry best practice.
  • Work with other leaders across the business to coordinate and push the skills and learning agenda within the business.
  • Work with the product and tech teams to develop our products and technology ensuring we deliver quality and market ready outputs.

We have a programme of learning products to meet the needs of students, including the successful delivery of a flagship learning programme.

  • Lead the creation of GTI's flagship learning programme aimed at empowering students to succeed in their career journey-covering employability, confidence, and skills development.
  • Design programme structures, learning pathways, and content experiences that provide long-term value and measurable learner outcomes.
  • Support the delivery of learning content for events and programmes, including student-facing workshops, online webinars, and facilitated sessions-ensuring all materials are educationally robust and engaging.

Collaboration across the business and relationships with partners, universities and subject matter expects drives the success development of our learning products.

  • Work with subject matter experts, clients, and internal stakeholders to translate complex information into learner-friendly, effective content across formats and contexts.
