Job summary

Angus Council is seeking a candidate to support Education & Lifelong Learning in embedding skills for learning, life and work within the senior phase of Curriculum for Excellence and 16+ Opportunities for All. The role includes managing work experience placements and expanding capacity for work-related learning.

The position is based at Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar, with hybrid working arrangements and some meetings in council buildings and partner sites.

Based at Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar.

This job is workstyle 5 - Hybrid+

You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from home for part of your week and spend some time attending meetings externally with partners and in council buildings including schools to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.

Duties will include assisting the Education & Lifelong Learning service in embedding skills for learning, life and work as part of the senior phase of Curriculum for Excellence and 16+ Opportunities for All with particular regard to managing, developing, and quality assuring work experience placements and assisting in expanding capacity for work related learning.
