Job summary

Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is seeking a Skills and Employability Trainer to join our Centrepoint Works Team in London. You will deliver accredited employability, English and Maths programmes to help vulnerable young people move into work placements and education.

The role requires experience delivering programmes, sector qualifications (preferably Construction), strong engagement with leaners, and the ability to recruit, assess and support learners through learning

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Employability, English and Maths programmes.
• Experience with sector-specific qualifications, preferably Construction.
• Ability to recruit and engage learners and organise group sessions.

Responsibilities

• Proactively recruit, assess and engage learners in line with contracts.
• Deliver employability, English, Maths and vocational skills using blended learning.
• Carry out initial assessments and learning plans, monitor progress with reviews.
• Contribute to development and improvement of resources and processes.
