Job summary

The Growth Company Education and Skills team is seeking a Skills Development Tutor specialising in Multi-Skills at Level 2. Based at the Trafford Park delivery centre, you will deliver an effective Multi-Skills Boot Camp and support learners to achieve positive outcomes while meeting awarding organisation standards and GC policies.

• At least five years' vocational industry experience in the specialist subject area.
• 1–2 years’ experience in teaching, learning and assessment.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the specialist subject area and relevant professional qualifications.
• Experience of teaching and learning quality standards, particularly Ofsted requirements.
• Qualified, or working towards, a Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Account manages a learner caseload in line with KPI targets.
• Plan and design face-to-face and blended digital curriculum to promote attainment.
• Mark/feedback students’ work with structured actions for learners to undertake.
• Accurately track KSB progress and risk band timely progress against KPI measures.
• Undertake and log CPD in continuing professional development.
• Ensure risk assessments are in place and reviewed annually for learner safety.
• Support the team’s quality assurance activities and development.

The Growth Company’s (GC) Education and Skills team is looking for a Skills Development Tutor specialising in Multi-Skills. Based at the Trafford Park delivery centre, the role will deliver an effective Multi-Skills Boot Camp, supporting learners to achieve positive outcomes while meeting Awarding Organisation standards, GC policies and procedures, and wider quality frameworks. Candidates must be occupationally competent across all elements of Multi-Skills at Level 2.

Key Responsibilities

• Account manages a learner caseload in line with our business KPI’s, and to support facilitate progression and securing repeat business.
• Plan and design face to face and blended digital sequential curriculum to promote the attainment of retainable knowledge, skills and behaviours.
• Mark/feedback students’ work provide structured actions for learners to undertake to complete their programme.
• Accurately track KSB progress of all learners and effectively risk band their timely progress and achievement against a set of KPI measures.
• Undertake and log industrial and pedological continuing professional development.
• Ensure risk assessments are in place and reviewed annually so that learners are safe.
• Support the team’s continual professional attainment and development through leading on and participating in a range of internal quality assurance activities.

About you

• At least five year's vocational industry experience within the specialist subject area.
• A minimum of one to two years’ experience in teaching, learning and assessment.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the specialist subject area and relevant professional qualifications.
• Experience of teaching and learning quality standards, particularly Ofsted requirements.
