Job Profile
As Vista continues its transition to a skills-led organisation, we are seeking a hands-on Skills Delivery Lead to design and implement this strategic initiative.
This role goes beyond project oversight — we’re looking for someone who can facilitate workshops, gather insights, and build tools and frameworks directly with our teams.
You’ll play a central role in shaping how skills are embedded across hiring, performance, and workforce planning — not from the sidelines, but by working side-by-side with HR, tech, and business leaders.
Your Responsibilities
- Facilitate and lead workshops with HR and business teams to define role-based skill profiles and gather input for validation.
- Drive the end-to-end implementation of the Skills-Led Organisation project, including direct creation of content, tools, and data models.
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and milestones while remaining embedded in the day-to-day project activity.
- Build and maintain the centralised skills database, ensuring structure, consistency, and usability.
- Partner with stakeholders to co-design and pilot skills-based tools, including hiring question banks and performance guides.
- Collaborate with HR Technology teams to ensure smooth integration of skills data into core HR systems.
- Develop materials and facilitate training sessions to support adoption of the new skills framework.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership through reports and regular progress updates.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re:
- Comfortable doing the work as well as managing the plan — a facilitator, builder, and executor in equal measure.
- Experienced in applying skills frameworks, taxonomies, or job architecture in real-world HR and talent contexts.
- Adept at gathering input through workshops, interviews, and data analysis — and translating that into practical tools and outputs.
- Confident managing stakeholders across seniority levels, but also energised by working at ground level with teams.
- Curious and proactive — happy to iterate, test, and adapt as the project evolves.
