Our skilled and experienced team offers a comprehensive rail wagon service, from design and manufacture to approval and delivery of the finished product. In addition to wagons, WH Davis also designs and manufactures a variety of bespoke containers.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Skilled Welder/Fabricator located in Nottinghamshire. The Skilled Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for performing welding tasks including arc, TIG, and MIG welding, fabricating materials, and ensuring high-quality workmanship. Daily tasks will also involve reading and interpreting technical drawings, maintaining tools and equipment, and collaborating with the production team to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MIG Welding techniques
• Strong knowledge of Materials used in welding and fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Relevant certifications in welding and fabrication are beneficial
• Prior experience in the rail industry is an advantage
