Job Opportunity: Skilled Welder

CNC Recruitment is seeking Skilled Welders to join our client in the Bridport area, a well-known precision engineering company. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various precision welding techniques.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday, day shift, 40 hours per week

Pay

Up to £20.00 per hour, depending on experience, with weekly pay

Duties

1. Perform precision welding tasks using different techniques.
2. Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications.
3. Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to engineering drawings.
4. Utilize hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces.
5. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet standards.

Requirements

• Proficient in precision welding techniques, including stick welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for metalwork.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Mechanical knowledge for fabricating and assembling metal components.
• Experience with sheet metal is advantageous.

Please note: Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm.
