Job description

We’re representing a well-established and people-focused client who’s looking for reliable, hard-working Warehouse Operatives to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

If you enjoy being part of a busy, supportive environment where no two days are the same, and you like to stay active, this could be the perfect role for you.

The working hours for this role are: Rotating weekly shifts – 6:00am–2:00pm and 2:00pm–10:00pm, 37.5 hours per week.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Receiving & Unloading
• Accepting deliveries, checking for damage or discrepancies, and logging incoming goods accurately.
• Stock Handling & Storage
• Placing goods into correct storage areas and ensuring stock is rotated correctly.
• Picking & Packing Orders
• Accurately picking items from pick lists and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Securely packing products to meet quality and safety standards.

Dispatch & Logistics

• Loading vehicles safely and completing dispatch paperwork or digital logs.
• Inventory Management
• Supporting regular stock checks and helping to resolve stock issues or mismatches.
• Machinery & Equipment
• Operating forklifts (where required) and saws safely and efficiently (full training provided for saws).

What You’ll Need:

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Team player with a strong work ethic
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• A valid, accredited Counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
• A full and clean UK driving licence (essential)
• Comfortable using handheld scanners or warehouse systems
• Basic literacy and numeracy
