Job summary
Stagecoach Bedford is seeking a skilled Shift Fitter to maintain and repair our fleet to DVSA standards. You will work a 5 on/2 off shift pattern, including some weekends and holidays, on a competitive salary with benefits.
A proactive, reliable team player is essential to ensure vehicle reliability across our Bedford depots. The role requires qualifications in PCV or HGV City & Guilds, BTEC, and NVQ Level 3 Engineering in HGV or PSV, with opportunities for overtime and career progression
Qualifications
- PCV or HGV City & Guilds qualification required.
- BTEC or equivalent engineering qualification preferred.
- NVQ Level 3 Engineering in HGV or PSV is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Repairing and maintaining Stagecoach fleet to high standards.
- Carrying out preventative maintenance on vehicles.
- Carrying out roadside and running repairs as needed.
