Job summary

Gregory Martin International is seeking a Skilled Sheet Metal Worker to manufacture, assemble, form and finish aerospace sheet metal components per engineering drawings and quality standards. You will ensure production targets and customer requirements are achieved safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates will have a time-served apprenticeship in sheet metal or equivalent, with experience in aerospace fabrication, reading drawings and working with forming, riveting and standard machinery and

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship in sheet metal work or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in aerospace sheet metal fabrication or similar engineering environment.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Experience with forming, riveting, assembly in aerospace sheet metal.
• Experience using standard sheet metal machinery and hand tools.

Skilled Sheet Metal Worker

Location: Byfleet, Surrey

Salary: Extremely Competitive

Our client is a precision engineering company looking to recruit a Skilled Sheet Metal Worker.

As Skilled Sheet Metal Worker you would be required to manufacture, assemble, form and finish precision sheet metal aerospace components and assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications and quality standards, ensuring production targets and customer requirements are achieved safely and efficiently.

Skilled Sheet Metal Worker requirements:

Time-served apprenticeship in Sheet Metal Work, Aircraft Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Experience in sheet metal fabrication, aerospace manufacturing or a similar engineering environment.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical instructions and specifications.

Skilled in aerospace sheet metal techniques including forming, fitting, assembly and riveting.

Experience using standard sheet metal machinery, hand tools and measuring equipment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
