Job summary

A manufacturing company in Wrexham is seeking a skilled Fabricator / Welder to assist in the manufacture of steel frames and sheet metal fabrication. The role involves evaluating drawings, operating machinery, and maintaining safety standards. Candidates must have experience with stainless steel and aluminium, proficiency in TIG, MMA, and MIG welding, and the ability to work unsupervised. This position offers a pay rate of £14.00 - £16.00 per hour, with additional pay for weekend work.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience of fabricating and welding on stainless steel and aluminium.
• Be able to TIG, MMA & MIG weld to a good standard, preferably previously coded.
• The ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and interpret drawings for preparation of the manufactured product.
• Operate band saw, guillotine, spot welder, punch and press brake safely.
• Communicate with suppliers and colleagues in a professional manner.
