Job Description

Work Pattern: 07:30 - 15:30 Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 12:30 Friday.

This role requires competence in general civil engineering and road maintenance activities, with experience in at least 8 of the following tasks, in accordance with the agreed skill standard:

  • Road Construction
  • Patching
  • Drainage / Deep Drainage
  • Kerbing
  • Plant Operation
  • Trenches
  • Street Lighting
  • HGV Winter Gritting
  • Mono-blocking / Slabbing
  • Safety at Roadworks
  • Supervisory Skills
  • Traffic Management Installation & Traffic Control

The successful candidate will operate as part of an operational team, deputise for the Specialist Foreperson when required, and participate in out-of-hours work including winter and summer stand-by rotas.
