Job summary

Clackmannanshire Council is recruiting two Skilled Roadperson to join our roads maintenance team. The role requires competence in general civil engineering/road maintenance activities and expertise in at least eight of the listed tasks.

You will operate as part of an operational team of manual employees and may deputise for the Specialist Foreperson. The council offers a flexible hybrid working pattern and is a Living Wage accredited employer.

Qualifications

• Competence in general civil engineering/road maintenance activities and skilled in 8+ of the activities listed.
• Ability to operate as part of an operational team of manual employees.
• Ability to deputise for the Specialist Foreperson when required.
• Willingness to participate in out-of-hours working as required by the Service (Winter / Summer stand-by rotas).
