2 Sisters Food Group in Newport is seeking a Skilled Production Operative to help run our fast-paced food manufacturing operation safely and efficiently. You will ensure products meet high quality standards while supporting daily targets and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing, production or processing environment.
• Experience operating machinery or working in a skilled production role.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Proactive and reliable approach to work.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Support the smooth running of production lines to achieve daily targets.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, quality and hygiene.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report issues promptly.
• Follow production specifications, processes and work instructions.
• Minimise waste and maximise productivity across the operation.
• Collaborate with colleagues and Team Leaders to meet operational goals.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures at all times.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities and best practice standards.

The Role

As a Skilled Production Operative, you will play a key role in our fast-paced food manufacturing operation, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with production, manufacturing, food processing or machine operating experience who are looking to develop their skills and progress their careers.

Key Responsibilities

As a Skilled Production Operative, your responsibilities will include:
