Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Skilled Production Operative to support Print Finishing across our client sites, including loading, feeding, and production line support. The role includes a Sunday to Wednesday mix of 12 hour days and nights, with shift changes as production requires.

You will work across finishing lines, operate a palletiser and forklift (training provided), ensure materials are loaded, and assist during equipment failures to keep production flowing safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of the finishing department. Main focus areas include Production Lines, including Stacker and Strappers; Hopper feeding; operate and maintain the Palletiser & Octopus; and operate a Forklift (training will be given)
• Ensure machines are loaded and replenished with sufficient supplies of materials
• Assist in the manual movement of production in the event of equipment failure
• Loading inserts into Hopper/Stream feeder using correct manual handling techniques
• Cleaning and maintenance of the finishing lines
• Loading and unloading of pallets
