Job Summary

CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS - TUESDAY 8TH APRIL 2025

Due to growth, we are currently seeking three Skilled Painters to be based at our East Cowes facility, and invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates.

This role will involve carrying out paint preparation on a variety of our contracts to meet drawing, specification and regulatory requirements.

When returning your application we ask that you explain all previous experience including the products used and the materials worked on in as much detail as possible.

Job Qualifications

Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate the following:

ESSENTIAL

  1. Applications for this opportunity must be supported by appropriate signed Indentures of Apprenticeship (where applicable) and/or certification in relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ in Paint or Paint Treatments or Materials Processing and Finishing (Surface Finishing).
  2. Keen eye for detail, and be competent in paint preparation, primer, bonding, and finishing techniques.
  3. Strong communication skills, flexible, and availability to work all shift patterns and overtime as required.

DESIRABLE

  1. Previous experience within the aerospace industry would be an advantage.
