Job summary

Yeo Valley Organic is looking for enthusiastic Production Operatives to join our Paignton manufacturing team on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. You will support production processes, operate packing lines and help move finished goods through chill and dispatch areas, ensuring quality and safety at every step.

This hands-on role offers steady hours in a fast-paced food environment with a focus on teamwork, adherence to food-safety standards, and opportunities for development and progression within

• Support product changeovers and line efficiencies
• Move materials and finished products safely around the site
• Maintain hygiene, housekeeping and safety standards
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Planning and Logistics teams to meet daily targets
• Contribute to a positive team environment focused on continuous improvement

About The Role

We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable Production Operatives to join our manufacturing team.

Whether you're supporting the production process, operating packing lines, or helping move finished goods through our chill and dispatch operations, you'll play an important role in ensuring our products reach customers safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

This is a hands‑on role within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment where teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality are essential.

What You'll Be Doing

Depending on your area of work, responsibilities may include:

• Operating production, processing, packing or warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Monitoring product quality and carrying out routine quality checks
• Following production schedules, procedures, and food safety standards
• Recording information accurately and maintaining traceability records
• Supporting product changeovers and line efficiencies
• Moving materials and finished products safely around the site
• Maintaining excellent hygiene, housekeeping, and safety standards
• Working closely with Production, Quality, Planning, and Logistics teams to achieve daily targets
• Contributing to a positive team environment focused on continuous improvement

Essential

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Desirable

• Previous experience within a food manufacturing, production, warehouse, or logistics environment
• Food Hygiene qualification
• Knowledge of HACCP principles
• Experience operating machinery or production equipment
• Counterbalance or warehouse experience (for logistics‑based roles)
