Job summary

Yeo Valley Production Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Operator to manage the safe chilling, storage, movement and despatch of finished products, ensuring accuracy, traceability and on-time delivery. You will transfer finished product from packing lines into chill areas, carry out temperature checks and stock rotation, record movements in warehouse systems, prepare orders for despatch and load vehicles safely.

Qualifications

• Good teamwork and communication are essential.
• Ability to perform manual handling and operate within safety guidelines.
• Attention to detail in stocking, labelling and despatching.
• Experience with warehouse systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Transfer finished product from packing lines into chill areas safely and efficiently.
• Carry out temperature checks, stock rotation and product consolidation to maintain quality.
• Use warehouse systems or paperwork to record movements and maintain full traceability.
• Prepare orders for despatch, ensuring correct quantities, labelling and pallet presentation.
• Load vehicles safely, following transport and site safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organised chill and despatch environment.
• Work closely with Planning, Transport and Production to support smooth daily operations.

Purpose:

Manage the safe chilling, storage, movement and despatch of finished product, ensuring accuracy, traceability and on‑time delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities
