Morgan Sindall Infrastructure is seeking a Skilled Operative to join the team at Faslane, Scotland. This role involves a range of site activities supporting civil engineering and infrastructure projects, under the direction of site management.

You will operate tools and equipment safely, follow health and safety requirements, and work with subcontractors to meet programme objectives. A valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering, construction or infrastructure environments.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Strong health and safety understanding on-site.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of skilled operational and construction activities per project requirements.
• Support civil engineering and infrastructure works safely, efficiently and to required quality.
• Operate tools, plant and equipment per training, competency and safety procedures.
• Follow site-specific health, safety and environmental requirements always.
• Collaborate with supervisors, site teams and subcontractors to complete works.
• Assist with site preparation, installation, maintenance and improvement activities.
• Identify and report safety concerns, hazards and near misses.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Ensure all work complies with procedures, project specifications and industry standards.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and continuous improvement initiatives.

We are seeking a Skilled Operative to join our growing team supporting a major infrastructure framework. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of civil engineering and construction activities, contributing to the successful delivery of key project works while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.

Working under the direction of the site management team, you will play a firsthand role in supporting project delivery, conducting a range of site activities, and collaborating with colleagues and subcontractors to achieve programme objectives.

Role Responsibilities

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card.

• Resolute, initiative-taking and committed approach to work.


• Practical critical thinking skills and a flexible attitude to changing work requirements.
