Qualifications

  • Proven experience with PC pumps and wastewater product assemblies.
  • Strong awareness of HSE protocols and standards.
  • Trained in manual handling, slinging, and lifting.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble pump and mixer equipment in line with engineering drawings.
  • Conduct production tests and complete detailed test reports.
  • Inspect and ensure all parts and assemblies are fit for purpose.
  • Operate manual and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to maintain an efficient build process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble pump and mixer equipment in line with engineering drawings and company procedures
  • Conduct production tests and complete detailed test reports
  • Inspect and ensure all parts and assemblies are fit for purpose
  • Operate manual and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to maintain an efficient build process
  • Accurately record work and support departmental coverage as needed
  • Travel occasionally for work-related tasks
  • Follow all NOV Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) procedures

Qualifications & Skills

  • Time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3)
  • Proven experience with PC pumps and wastewater product assemblies
  • Working knowledge of mechanical seals
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Proficient with hand tools and mechanical assembly techniques
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Trained in manual handling, slinging, and lifting
  • Strong awareness of HSE protocols and standards
