Job summary

MD Group is seeking a Skilled Labourer to support social housing maintenance in the Bristol region. The role requires a range of skills including plumbing, carpentry, tiling, painting and plastering, with a focus on completing tasks in a single visit.

We value customer-focused service and safe work practices. Driving licence is required; position is full-time and on the road, with up to 25 days annual leave plus pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing repairs.
• Ability to perform multiple trades onsite.
• Health & Safety trained (ASbestos Awareness, Working at Height, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and orders across Bristol area to complete in a single visit.
• WorkSkill set in plumbing, carpentry, tiling, painting and plastering as required.
• Ensure high quality service for diverse customers and maintain safety standards.

Skilled Labourer

LOCATION: Bristol

CONTRACT TYPE: Full-time

• £13.46 per hour (£27,996.80 per annum)
• Up to 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)

The Role of a Skilled Labourer:

We have an opportunity for an experienced Skilled Labourer to work in and around the Bristol area covering our contracts. They will need to have a good range of skills, such as general plumbing, carpentry, tiling, painting and plastering alongside labouring. It is key that they can complete a variety of tasks to ensure that repairs/orders can be completed in a single visit.

• Current Health & Safety Training certificates (including, but not limited to, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, Manual Handling & Risk Assessments)
• An understanding and be able to use effectively (after training) equipment and processes which may be reasonably required by the Company
• Recent experience working in social housing
• Experience and a passion for delivering high quality services to a diverse range of customers
