Job Title: Skilled Labourer – Strip Out Works
Location: Plympton, PL7
Rate: £16.00 – £17.00 per hour (experience dependent)
Start Date: Immediate Start
Working Hours: 07:30 – 17:00

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Skilled Labourer to join a strip out project in Plympton (PL7). The role will involve assisting trades, carrying out heavy-duty strip out works, and preparing the site for refurbishment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out strip out works, including removal of fixtures, fittings, partitions, and waste

• Using basic hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Assisting tradesmen (carpenters, joiners, etc.) with site duties

• Loading, unloading, and moving materials as required

• Ensuring the site remains clean, safe, and hazard-free

• Following instructions from supervisors and site managers

• Adhering to all health & safety regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Labourer/Skilled Labourer on strip out or demolition projects

• Confidence in using hand and power tools

• Valid CSCS card (essential)

• Own PPE (boots, hi-vis, hard hat, gloves)

• Good physical fitness and ability to handle manual tasks

• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
