Job summary

Core Group is seeking experienced Skilled Labourers to work on a Leicester construction project. The role involves general labouring, assisting trades, moving materials, and helping with site preparation on a Monday to Friday schedule.

A valid CSCS card is required, and candidates should have construction experience, reliable work ethic, and two checkable references. Start date 28 September 2026; contract for eight weeks; rate £18.75 per hour and 40-hour weeks.

SKILLED LABOURER

Location: Leicester
Rate: £18.75ph
Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30 / 8 hours paid
Duration: 8 weeks
CSCS: Required

Start Date: 28 September, 2026

We are currently looking for experienced Skilled Labourers to work on a construction project.

Duties include:

• General skilled labouring duties
• Assisting trades and site management
• Moving and handling materials
• Basic construction and maintenance tasks
• Using hand and power tools where competent
• Assisting with site preparation
• Loading, unloading and moving materials
• Keeping work areas clean and organised
• Completing general remedial and snagging works
• Following site health & safety procedures

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS Card
• Previous construction experience
• Experience carrying out skilled/general construction tasks
• Reliable and hard-working
• 2 checkable references
• Good understanding of site health & safety
