Job summary

VanRath Search & Selection is seeking a Skilled Labourer for a Ballymena-based project in Northern Ireland. The role involves supporting construction, groundwork and site-preparation activities, with hand and power tools usage and adherence to health and safety standards.

You will work with carpenters, bricklayers, electricians and plumbers, handling materials and helping meet deadlines on busy sites. Valid CSR card is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction, groundwork, or maintenance.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong health and safety knowledge on-site.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Valid CSR card is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Support construction, repair and site-preparation activities.
• Assist carpenters, bricklayers, electricians and plumbers.
• Load, unload, organise materials, tools and equipment.
• Prepare work areas involving excavation, concrete work, demolition or basic groundwork.
• Follow site instructions and safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free site.
• Help meet project deadlines through efficient site work.

Salary: GBP13.5 - GBP15 per hour
