Job summary

Combined Facilities Management is seeking a hands-on maintenance operative to support tradesmen on void and tenanted properties in Northern Ireland. You will contribute to a courteous client service and carry out a range of on-site tasks with safety as a priority.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will handle kerbing, flagging, fencing, concreting, and material movement, while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to demonstrate relevant experience.
• Evidence of delivering high levels of customer service.
• Valid CSR Card.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist tradesmen onsite with daily works.
• Kerbing, flagging, fencing, and block work.
• Concreting, move and load materials as required.
• Ensure areas are clean and tidy at day end.
• Observe health and safety requirements on site.
• Complete site documentation accurately and on time.

This is a permanent full-time, Northern Ireland based role. Role Overview:

Operating within a fast-paced environment this role will assist tradesmen onsite with daily works, providing a first-class service to our customer.

Key Activities / Responsibilities:

• Working on void and tenanted properties
• Working with other team members to provide a courteous and considerate service to clients and tenants
• Kerbing, flagging
• Fencing
• Block work
• Concreting
• Move, secure, install, build, load, or unload of materials.
• Use of heavy and light equipment, depending on the jobsite/assignment
• Ensure areas of work are left clean and tidy at the end of the day
• Working under instruction to meet the needs of the client
• Observe the highest levels of health and safety, and use appropriate safety equipment
• Ensure accurate completion and timely submission of any relevant site-based or company documentation electronically or paper based as per requirements of the contract
• Any other task that is required.

Education / Experience:

Essential Criteria

• Ability to demonstrate relevant experience
• Evidence of delivering high levels of customer service.
• Valid CSR Card
• Full driving license

Desirable

• Experience in the social housing sector
• Working at Heights Harness training
• Experience using a PDA \ smartphone \ mobile working device
• Access NI clearance preferable
