Job summary

Coinford Holdings Ltd. is seeking experienced Groundwork Handymen for a busy project in Littlestone. You will work as part of an established gang across pipelaying, drainage, externals, and external works, delivering high-quality groundworks.

Key duties include setting up trench boxes, laying pipes to spec, managing groundwater, backfilling trenches, and carrying out safety inspections. CSCS and CT-level training are required; long-term work is available.

Qualifications

• CSCS Groundworker card or equivalent.
• CPCS/NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper (CSCS-affiliated).
• Safety Critical Medical (site specific).
• CAT & Genny Training.
• Reliable and punctual; able to work with other trades.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Set up trench boxes, drag boxes and pipe lasers.
• Lay concrete, clay and plastic pipes to bed and levels.
• Test and lay pipes correctly throughout.
• Manage groundwater and pump setup.
• Backfill trenches correctly.
• Bench manholes.
• External works: curbs, slabs, paving.
• Work safely around live services; pre-start inspections.
