Job summary

Coinford Holdings Ltd is seeking experienced Groundwork Handymen for a busy Yapton project. You will be a skilled all-rounder across pipelaying, drainage, externals and external works, working in an established gang to deliver high-quality groundworks.

The role requires CSCS Groundworker/NPORS-CSCS affiliations, safety checks, and a team-focused attitude. Ongoing work with weekly pay and opportunities to upskill are available on-site in the UK.

Qualifications

• CSCS Groundworker card or similar qualification.
• CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Forward Tipping Dumper*.
• Safety Critical Medical (site specific).
• CAT & Genny Training.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well with other trades.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and using trench boxes, drag boxes, manhole boxes and pipe lasers.
• Laying concrete, clay and plastic pipes (all sizes) to correct bed, surround and levels.
• Ensuring pipes are tested and laid correctly throughout.
• Managing groundwater and setting up the correct pump for the task.
• Ensuring correct backfilling of trenches.
• Benching of all manholes.
• External works including kerbs, edgings, slabs and block paving.
• Working safely around live services using correct service avoidance techniques.
• Carrying out daily pre-start plant safety inspections.

We are looking for experienced Groundwork Handymen to join our teams on a busy project in Yapton. You will be a skilled all-rounder capable across pipelaying, deep drainage, externals and external works, working within an established gang to deliver high-quality groundworks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Setting up and using trench boxes, drag boxes, manhole boxes and pipe lasers
• Laying concrete, clay and plastic pipes (all sizes) to correct bed, surround and levels
• Ensuring pipes are tested and laid correctly throughout
• Managing groundwater and setting up the correct pump for the task
• Ensuring correct backfilling of trenches
• Benching of all manholes
