Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Skilled Gas Engineer to cover installation works across domestic settings in the Guildford area. You will service gas systems, perform installations, and conduct safety-compliant inspections using hand and power tools.

The ideal candidate has proven gas engineering or related mechanical experience, holds Full ACS qualifications, a valid driving licence, and familiarity with domestic boilers. A strong focus on safety and high-quality workmanship is essential.

Responsibilities

• Install gas systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues with gas infrastructure.
• Use welding equipment and hand tools to assemble, modify, or repair components.
• Perform plumbing tasks related to gas systems, ensuring proper connections and sealing.
• Utilise power tools for cutting, drilling, and fitting components accurately.
• Assist with the assembly of new gas systems or components as required.
• Conduct basic mathematical calculations for measurements, quantities, and pressure settings.
