Job summary

Eco Approach is recruiting a Gas Installation Engineer for private housing projects across South Surrey & Sussex. You will install, upgrade and commission gas heating systems, perform boiler conversions, and swap systems while ensuring safety and quality in high-end properties.

The role requires at least 2 years in domestic gas installation, Gas Safe registration, ACS accreditations, a valid UK driving licence, and own van with tools including a flue gas analyser.

Qualifications

• Gas qualifications for domestic and/or commercial work.
• ACS accreditations held.
• Gas Safe Registration is required.
• Minimum 2 years domestic installation experience.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Own van and tools with flue gas analyser.
• Public Liability insurance.
• Experience managing own workload.
• Vented and unvented cylinders installation experience.
• Power-flushing heating system experience.
• Plumbing maintenance experience.
• Ability to work confidently in high-end properties.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and commission gas heating systems in private housing.
• Carry out boiler conversions (combi and system boilers).
• Undertake combi and conventional system swaps.
• Manage installations to ensure quality, compliance, and safety standards.
• Work independently to deliver jobs within agreed timescales.
• Maintain a professional approach when working in clients’ homes.
